Probably not, but you need to keep them away from him. Eating enough of it could give him an intestinal obstruction.

Oh I did! I cleaned his cage out and added towels instead of the pads under the fleece. Thank you for answering for question so quickly!

Yes. You'll probably never see it.

Hello so my guinea pig Sven is fine, eating, drinking, and pooping. I noticed today he had crustys in his eyes, my old guinea pig had crustys in his eyes a lot but he lived 2 years with a little bit of crust in his eyes. He runs and eats his whole bowl of feed.

Keep a close eye on him for other URI symptoms, if he has any then he needs to see an exotics vet. Eye crusties are just one sign, regularly checking his weight to make sure he's not losing and keeping an ear out for sneezing, wheezing, etc. are crucial. Ferb gets eye crusties sometimes, even the vet commented on it since he had one in one eye last time she examined him, but he has no other URI symptoms and she said he is fine.

Ya my old guinea pig had crustys but was never sick. I can barely go to sleep at night because my guinea pigs love to eat and drink water. I noticed today he had a small crusty on one eye and the other didnt

And his eating and weight? It is starting to sound more like a URI. Are you sure there are no emergency vets nearby? Heres what guinea lynx says https://www.guinealynx.info/uri.html

No they are all for dogs and cats.:( I put him back in because he just peed and pooed on me. As soon as I put him back in and made a small wheel noise and started drinking water

Well his eyes are bright and open, he is very alert, and I came home today from school and his bowl was practically empty. His poops have become slightly smaller, but I'm having my mom call the vets tomorrow she called today about the poop they said wait a day and if it's not better bring him in. Otherwise he's fine running and popcorn so I'm very confused

I think he may have sniffed hay or got it in his nose
