Any updates?

Yes! They are doing great! Minnie has established that she is the boss, no objections from piper. They wanted their houses so I gave them back, no matter how I put them, they arrange them how they want to. We had to move away from my husband. He was very abusive so I am going to be working on getting my own place and building my own cage on my own! Starting over is hard! Right now I am staying with strangers. Having no money, no phone. It's cramped and they have a pit bull who constantly jumps up whining at my babies in the cage! I wish I had people who could send me money so I could pay my phone and get them more food and bedding cause they are out of bedding and almost out of food tomorrow I'm going to contact any and all resources possible! I really want to get us in our own place as soon as possible!

I'm glad you and your piggies are safe. Good luck on your new journey, if you need supplies for your piggies maybe you could start a go fund me campaign.

I tried to put up a fund raising and it's not doing anything. And I did for more than just the basics. And it seems that my life is going from bad to worse! Now not only is my phone off! But these people are saying that they found a "shelter" that I could go to but I can't take my animals. And that I would have to give them away! No way!!!!!! I don't think so!!!!! I really don't want to go back to my husband, but I'm afraid I might have to. I have no money, no nothing. And I'm not gonna have a choice. I don't have anyone who could keep my babies while I go to a shelter. And I would hate to be away from them!!! I love them too much!!!!

Well, I am happy to say that we are doing better! I gave piper her first haircut. That was a job!!!! I kinda wanted it shorter, but she did really good! I guess now that her baby hair is grown out, she seems silkier and so soft. Yesterday I put them in the bathtub and let them swim. Which I really didn't believe the video I had seen. Minnie is still biting piper. She takes her lettuce, runs her away when she's trying to get a drink. My poor baby! But I am happy to say that piper has started becoming more affectionate. So here's piper's new look

Well I am adding a puppy to our family! She is only 2 weeks old. So she is going to be raised around my Minnie and piper. Her name is Sheba and she is a pit bull. I'm gonna have them together a lot and teach my puppy to be very nice!

My guinea pigs are bigger than my puppy!!!

Aww I'm glad everything's going so well! Piper looks fantastic with that new haircut by the way. She looks so soft and fluffy!
And as for the new pup, make sure you exercise extreme caution when she's around your piggies. If they are out together, make sure they are all completely supervised and never leave them alone together. Even the sweetest pup can turn, or more often than not they try to play with the piggies without realizing their own strength. And if you have not already, put a lid on the cage--a closet shelf is a great option, or extra grids. I say this because as nice as cats/dogs can be, they are still "predatory" animals and could pose a threat to piggies. It's ALWAYS better to be safe then sorry when it comes to guinea pigs.

However, I'm really excited and happy for you...as annoying as puppy training can be (our Sophie STILL has accidents) dogs are such wonderful animals and with proper training and affection, I'm sure she'll be a sweet pup. And post pictures of her if you can! I love puppies and I love pit bulls and how big they're little puppy paws are <3 They're just so cute and doofy when they're little.

Just dont overwhelm yourself! and watchthe puppy arround the piggies they can be rough sometimes!

TOO CUTE. I was expecting a pretty cute pup but this is cute overload--ahh she's just so adorable.

Thank you she is only 16 days old. The runt. And lucky for me I live with the owner of the mom so I have full access to her!

As for pipers hair cut she feels softer now. I love her so much!

Was looking at Minnie's baby pictures, she's grown so much!!!
