Yes I have a feeling my pigs wouldnt like it, but I always see websites with clothes for guinea pigs.. like it's a big thing or something.. HA!

I would not waste my money on guinea pig clothes. I just found it strange how popular it is to purchase the clothes. I wasn't sure if it were a common thing.

I don't like the thought of stressing my porkies out for no reason LOL!!!

The only animal I'd ever put clothes on ("clothes" being read as a bandana at most) would be my cat Mr. Jinx. We used to put bandanas on him because he's the sweetest and most tolerant of our animals. He'll keep it on for a while, too--once he was just walking around with a bandana on without a care in the world. I wish I had a picture, it was pretty funny--just this big fat old man cat with a pink bandana on walking around like he owns the place. As for the others, our other two cats would hate us and the dogs are fine with a loose bandana over their collar but nothing else.

As for guinea pigs, I completely agree, it's just a terrible idea. They're skiddish enough as is, and putting constricting, weighty clothing on them just freaks them out even more. It's just a waste of money really.

Mr. Jinx also agrees clothing for piggies is stupid and he covers his fat face in disappointment.

I've put an edible flower on my piggy's head, but that's as far as I'd go. I don't dress up any of my pets, save for things like collars, bandanas, etc. (which is only for my cats/dogs) basically, things my pets would still be fairly comfortable wearing, and only for a short period of time. (i.e. for a holiday picture or something)

I don't do piggy photo shoots, but maybe I should. Domino is such a model. He will always pose in front of the camera. (Like when I take a picture of him just having fun or a Mum-and-Piggy selfie) But I would only put like a little hair clip, or bow, or hat on his head. But nothing more than that. Because I would not want him to be uncomfortable. Like a costume or anything. That would ruin the whole picture for me. But I should maybe do some of these. They look fun and the end result is adorable

just for Halloween

I dress my guinea pigs up with hats on their heads and they honestly don't care about it. I have a few premade from the pet store but I'll generally make them out of cardstock so they are very light and my girls never seem to be scared about it at all. I don't fasten them to their heads so they fall of easy and they don't feel trapped. I have a few that are body costumes but I tried those once and my ladies did not like them at all so I stopped. I love taking pictures of mine in hats though, I think it's cute and silly and my pigs are fine with it.

@sallyvh Oh man hahaha those are really cute actually. What I like about yours is that they're not constricting or bothersome, and you know not to push the limit with your piggies...only do what they tolerate, and that's good. I think it's also the individual animal, I guess, even with guinea pigs.

Well I don't dress them up, I think the money spent on costumes is better spent on vets and stuff. Btw @sallyvh I LOVE those hats and I think they are the cutest! And they're cheap and practical [emoji1]
