Tell us about your other pets!

I got the chair this week, so he's still getting used to it. So far he hasn't had any problem, other than getting tired quickly. ^^

@Paula --I'm from Oregon, so I know exactly what the weather is like there! Great idea: freezing the dust! I'm totally going to do that. Oliver gets dust bathed about 3-4 times a week because it's so humid here.

@Pie--Totally cool bunny wheels! Kudos for taking the time and effort to make your bun's life better.

She'll love it! Mine only get dust baths once a week, maybe twice a week in the summer depending on the weather. They'd love it if I'd let them take a bath 3-4 times a week, but it just isn't necessary.

I have two guinea piggies Crystal & Cookie. And two poodle puppies Luca & Paris. I wish I could post pics but I can't upload them from the IPad. :sad:

The black kitten on my lap is called Panther, he is my shadow and just adores attention from me how ever the bigger cat (brown-ish) is one of our older cats, he is called Barney and he does not like Panther getting attention and last is the gray tabby lil guy called Leo, he has gotten a lot better with my mum and I as he will now if he wants let us pat him.

I have 2 parakeets, Romeo and Juliette, a pirnaha named Liam, and an eel named Atomic.

We only have one guinea pig right now (pictured with her sister Chelsea who died last week).


We have three parrots. Shanti and Kazi are gold capped conures, and Zephyr is a timneh african grey. They are all rescues. I used to volunteer and foster for the local avian rescue. At one point we had 16 birds in our house. Since I started having health problems, the fosters had to go to other foster homes, and 4 of ours permanent birds died.






Then we have Kahu kitty. He is 6 months old, from a friend who had an oops litter, and he got neutered today.



Next is Luna. We adopted her at 7 weeks, and we think she is a terrier/labradoodle mix. My Mom thinks she's got some portugese water dog in her, but I disagree.

Last but not least, we have a juvenile red eared slider, Spots.



We're hoping to move soon, and will likely add another parrot or two, plus canaries, maybe budgies, and my daughter wants a bearded dragon.

@ZenMama - your dog, Luna, looks a lot like a bearded collie my family use to have.

We currently have 4 fur babies. Jasmine (black 13 year old cat), Mr. Squid (orange long hair 15 year old cat) and piggies Bella and Mya.
I've had pets through out my life: Guinea Pigs (Citrus & Squeaky), Newts (Daisy Mae & Rosie), Hamsters (Marbles & Dusty), lots of fish, and Cats (Salem and Pierre).

We've got spoiled rotten pig Charlie, plus 2 old dogs, a grumpy cat and a mischievous gerbil. A sleepy Charlie, he's 6yrs old now, time flies! Shadow (13 yrs old)Belle (12 yrs old) Hank, he's 10 yrs old and of course little Roo, he's about 2 1/2 yrs old.

What IS Roo? Chinchilla? Ground squirrel?

I bet it's a DEGU!

Roo looks like a gerbil to me!! He's certainly not a chinchilla or degu!

Where to start, where to start... Well, first I have two piggy girls, Couchon (misspelled version of Cochon) and CinnaMoo. They have totally different personalities. Couchon (the black, white, and orange one), who has been with me since college, is a shy, mellow piggy, but she is also very cuddly when you get her on your lap. CinnaMoo (she looks like a Scottish cow) is loud, bossy, adventurous and doesn't really like lap time too much.

Then, I have my doggy, Roscoe I got him as a foster when he was going to be killed at the pound the next day. Well, it's been three years, and he is still with me. He is the most gentle soul in the world. He is so loving, and all he wants is for someone to just hold him (and he is a 60-pound dog ), and he has never bothered or tried to hurt my piggies or any other creatures I bring in




Also, I have a pigeon. Yes, a pigeon! She has a neurological disorder, so she can't be re-released. Pigeons are actually really smart - they can recognize different people in photographs, learn the alphabet, etc. I am still finding my way with her, but I did learn that she likes back rubs. I named her Peach.




Finally, there is Sir Percy (a noble pteranodon), my traveling companion, if you will, who has been everywhere from Europe to the Arctic Circle (I felt he needed to be included).
