I'm sorry I should of mentioned he is drinking water fine himself. I will try the towel see if he's more comfortable with it then.
Good news though the vet says he sounds better. This will be his 3rd day on it. Hes starting to popcorn again. I haven't seen that for about 2days he's just been laying in the fleece forest I made him.

How's your baby?

He's doing pretty good I got him to eat some broccoli last night. Still fights the medicine, but he's back to trying to be the dominant one. I'd say things are looking up. thanks for asking.

Well.
Thankfully it was the last night of meds!! Two days ago she actually broke skin with her beaky-dagger!!

I do have another question my vet would like me to guve him vitamin c. I got liquid vitamin c, but how many milligrams di I give him?

Did she not give you directions? What brand is this? How much does he weigh?

Well my husband took him to the vet not me because i was at work. He told him to get pediatric vitamin c at any drug store. He only said about 2 drops. We couldn't find any so my husband got a liquid vitamin c. I'm not sure of the brand. When I get home from work tonight ill post it. I did order some vitamin c I found on the website Guineapigpro posted on the economical guinea pig group. I just didn't want to wait until the came to start. He is a little over 14oz

So I'm reading the ingredients, and it doesn't look pig safe:
Other Ingredients: Purified water, granulated sugar, corn syrup, glycerin, sorbitol solution, propylene glycol, sodium hydroxide pellets, sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, orange oil, rose hips extract powder.
I think you're better off waiting until you can get vitamin C safe for animals.

The rugby is the brand I have. It is perfectly safe! It's on the TLP Market Place, and is super easy to give!

I wouldn't say so... It is only supplemental and only to be given when they need a boost of it. It is much easier to give then the vitamin C tablets and a little goes a long way. My pigs have benefited from it in times of need so I give it an A+.

Theee is a little bit of sugar and some sodium, but I only gave him .1 milliliter. I'm only going to give it to both of them until Harveys better and we know the sickness is out of the house.
