I was going through the pics one day and I saw that someone had made a little fleece bag type bowl to use for their pellets does anyone know how I could make one????? I would love to use something smaller for their pellets then a huge bowl. Would love to get a few of those nice Staybowls but can't afford those at the moment.

Any my help is appreciated!!!

If you can post or link to the picture I could try to figure out how it was made.

@pigger123 it's under the "lets see your cages pics" post in the cage section it's post number 495. @boofp has them in her cage.

Looks like she may have just taken cloth and covered the bowl and just put a rubber band around it.

That's what I was thinking too, but from the side it looks like it might actually be a little fleece sack with the top rolled down. To be honest I don't see why this would be preferable to a regular bowl, but you could probably make one just like a miniature snuggle sack and roll it down to be a bowl shape.

My bowls are scratched and chewed on and stuff so the cloth bowls would never look like that.

It's cute. Unfortunately mine would think it's a bed and start sleeping in the pellets (they already sleep under the hay a lot), lol.

lol @ Rywen. Personally I think it would make more mess with the pellet dust on the fleece. Try a heavier cat or dog ceramic dish, they're not all big, they come in different sizes, and they're cheap in Walmart. In the meantime save up for a STAYbowl.
Good luck! :)
