Your cage looks great!

Thank you! I ordered the coroplast from here because mine was not cut right when I made it long ago and the old cage had been thru a move so was a little banged up. I decided to get one already cut and easy to assemble. I already had the grids. I ordered the loft and ramp too. I had one before but I made it myself and the workmanship wasn't the best so I hadn't been using it! I had some extra money saved up and decided to spend it on the GPigs! Great to start fresh like this! I found my new fleece on Amazon as a fleece throw. It was cheap and different than others I've seen so I grabbed it up! I'm giving my old stuff to my sister so her piggies will be getting a new (but used) cage as well!

I have a very similar set up to yours and I love it. The nice thing about the kitchen is my girls pee primarily in it which keeps my fleece nice and clean.

It's National Geographic Comfort Bedding. I don't like it. I actually bought it because I now have two rats and am trying to find what's best for them and ran out of the paper bedding I normally use in the kitchen. My boys love the paper bedding. This stuff is similar to the wood pellets I use under the fleece but it's crumbled up. It gets all over the fleece and the floor when they run and doesn't do a great job anyways. I won't be getting more.

Thank you! I have gray sofa/love seat so I wanted it to match the living room! My husband teases me about it but I like to think my GPigs are good lookin so they like to have a good lookin place too! He really made fun of me when I refused to use some pink fleece because my boys don't like pink. Purple is cool, but no pink for them!

I used to use the Midwest cage also. I took the divider out and noticed my piggies ran "zoomies" around the perimeter without it. There wasn't room with it in the way. You might find the same thing. Do you have one or two?
I have 2. And they run around and play now. I have thought about taking that out.

Curious if anyone has a 2x6 with a 1x2 loft on each side. This is what I was wanting to build next but I haven't been able to find any pictures!

The cage has changed so much but here's what we spent the whole weekend finishing for our piggies. This is Jackie, BabyGirl, and SnowBell's L shaped c&c cage. 'Her Majesty' (a.k.a BabyGirl) just had to be in the photo's lol.

Thanks to the suggestion of an awesome co-worker, i spent two hours yesterday re-arranging cages so i would have more room for a new craft table. Hamish the hedgehog is now stacked on top of Pepper and Oreo the guinea pigs! I seriously love C&C cages - so many options!

(PS: no, the pigs can't get to the wires for Hamish's heat lamps. I have the majority of the wires coiled safely and clipped well above and the wire that does dangle down is behind a sheet of plexi-glass. 100% safe!)

Here's my cage for my two gals. I'll be adding more grids and another layer when I can get them. That wood is from a pear tree in our yard, so it's safe.

@Nikkipig that is so cute!
here is my new 3'x10' cage for my 4 girls, it's bigger than my couch and takes up half the living room
(Please excuse the messy table, I finished building the cage at 4am this morning and cleaning up wasn't a priority)
