Sick Crumbs' medical thread

I have no experience whatsoever with that, so I can't advise you. At this point I would hate to have to introduce any more drugs to her at all, but that's me. I hate giving my pigs any chemicals at all. It's nothing more than a personal preference. If my pigs need them they will get them but I try to avoid it.

Okay, fair enough. I'm just scrabbling for ideas. Will just have to see what the vet says

She's gonna be ok, @wigglemish. Like I said, she's a fighter and she's come this far. Saturday she didn't even try to move. Now she WANTS to be mobile. It's hard for her but she'll get there.

How is she taking food and water? Still like a champ?

I think she has a respiratory infection...

What makes you feel that? What's happening with her?

I'm so glad you got her in this afternoon then. Always a risk of a post op infection.

Can she still eat and drink ok?

Crumbs is gone. Heart was very weak and breathing bad by the time we got to vets.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's even harder when you work so hard to try to save them. Take comfort in the fact that you did everything humanly possible for her and she had a good life with you.

I was also following Crumbs' progress from the sidelines and really hoping she'd pull through. I am so, so sorry for your loss

I've been watching this thread for a bit, and thought she would pull through. So very sorry for your loss.
