Hi!
I was wondering if this size would best fit two boars, The recommended size for two boars is 2X5 but i have not got the space, but I do have the space for a 3X4. Would this be OK?

A 3x4 is actually better, boars tend to do better in wider cages. Plus it's actually more space :)

A 3x4 is actually 2 grids larger (12 grids like a 2x6, vs. 10 grids in a 2x5.) And many boars do better in a wider cage.

If you currently don't have any pigs you might be able to find a trio at a local rescue, but if you've already got pigs I would hesitate to add another boar to an existing pair, because there's a strong possibility it won't work, and you could even break up the existing pair such that you have three piggies who won't tolerate each other.

I have kept up to 5 closely bonded boars in the past in a 3x4. Currently I am keeping 3 boars in the same 3x4 and they are very happy. I am probaby going to expand it to a 4x4 so they'll be even happier :)

@HannibalLecter how many pigs can i fit in there? a 3x4

As others have mentioned, a boar trio rarely works in the long run as there would always be a third wheel, so unless you adopt an already bonded trio I would go for a bonded pair. I wouldn't personally risk it with boys.

While I have three girls in a 2x8, two of them have a huge need for personal space so anything smaller would probably never work for us either.
