I recently joined a CSA veggie/fruit farm share and have way more than I can eat...specifically in the leafy green category. Is it ok to give my 2 piggies a variety of these veggies for a couple months and not the pellets? Thanks!

Are you feeding hay? Hay is the most important. There's a risk that the pigs will eat so much of the greens/veggies that they won't eat the amount of hay that they need for digestive and dental health.

Ditto @foggycreekcavy. Hay is way more important than veggies. And unless your pigs are having urinary calcium problems, they need pellets for their vitamins and minerals.

oh yes, sorry... they definitely still eat hay and have a constant supply of it.

I recently joined a CSA as well. My neighbors love it because they are getting plenty of veggies. The piggies and the canines are also reaping the benefits. :)
