Hay Timothy alfalfa kings hay

Hi people
I noticed this product timothy alfalfa kings hay in the store while i was buying stuff for Chock.
I was wondering if any of you have ever given this to your pigs and did they like it if you did??

The hay in question that i'm talking about it is a bright emerald green colour and is pure alfalfa... Hope this helps

If your pig is older than 6 months than no, do not give it to him. Alfalfa is only good for young pigs and pregnant sows. Otherwise it has too much vitamin C for an adult pig.

The brand is "Alfalfa King" but as long as it is Timothy hay, there's no reason to not try it.

I got some to try him on anyway and he seems to really like it
We have regular vet visits as i cant cut Chocks nails my self. So if there ever was a problem it would be picked up really fast... That's the plus side to being blind

I believe you meant to say it has too much Calcium for an adult pig :p and the brand 'Alfalfa King' sells a pure timothy hay product as well as alfalfa hay. Confusing I know
