Help! Guinea pig that needs vet ASAP Louisville, KY so sad

Ohmygosh!! I hope someone takes her soon, poor little pig. Why doesn't the person just bring her to a shelter??

Yea it did me too I felt so bad and I know everyone on here cares for guinea pigs a lot. I just added 2 more to my family and now have 4 so I really can't get anymore right now let alone one that needs medical attention.

@chas25 If there is a reputable non kill rescue in the area could you offer to get her and take her so she gets some much needed vet care? Poor thing

If I was in America I would take her right now, poor thing.

I emailed the lady as well as a rescue not far from me so hopefully I'll get a response soon from both

Poor pig! There is a rescue in Sellersburg, Indiana, (broken link removed) . I don't know is she would be able to take her right now because she is at capacity and has a couple of pigs that need medical care in the rescue.

Actually she is the one I emailed so I guess we'll see

Update: Crystal from the Sellersburg rescue emailed me back and said she could take the poor guinea pig but the lady with the guinea pig hasn't responded to either of my emails.

That is good news, just hope we hear from the lady soon. Do you think she's not responding because she wants some money?

not sure I even offered to pay her for the guinea pig. I sent another email from my other email address about 11 last night not mentioning the rescue or anything so maybe she will respond to that one

No the lady has not emailed me. I have sent 3 emails from 2 different email addresses still nothing. I even put an ad on craigslist asking her to contact me.

I hope it's not a sick joke to see how many people email her. I happen to my b/f and I. We arrange to pick up our what would be our first guinea pig. When we got to the address there was someone else coming for an oven (I think it was) and no one answered and i called the person to say that I was at here house and there was no answer.. The other people and I finally left empty handed. The person finally called to back to say that the guinea pig had died during the night.. Well if that really happen she would have called use to tell us and she never did..Let's hope it's not like this and someone emails you back..
