Depending on where you live, you can get the hay for cheaper. I buy a 45lb box from kmshayloft.com and it costs me about $60. $30 for the hay and $30 for shipping because they're based two states above me. I have two male guinea pigs and it lasts me about 5 months. Also your hay and pellets link is both to the amazon hay

I buy hay from Small Pet Select, and a $70 box lasts me 6-8 months.

The only pellets I would recommend would be KMS Hayloft or Oxbow, and I (and my pigs) vastly prefer KMS Hayloft.

Sorry, the pellets link was supposed to be to KMS alfalfa pellets, which I would only feed up until the 6 month period, if I got young guinea pigs. Here is the link: (broken link removed)

Other than that though, the list seems to be good to start with? Or do I need toys, treats, etc.? I am not too concerned about the prices right now, because I will look into those more once I decide to purchase everything.

No, you do not need to purchase any toys or treats.
The only "treat" I give to my pigs are their vitamin C tablets. Empty toilet paper rolls should be sufficient in terms of toys! I've spent many dollars buying different toys for my pigs that they end up ignoring, while they are always chewing or dragging around the TP rolls. Sometimes I fill them with botanical hay for a fun treat.

Do you think that they need one of those plastic house things, like the ones that they are usually sleeping in at the pet stores, or the overhang on the cage should be sufficient enough for shelter? I want to make sure that they have everything that they would need and want. I guess I should look at some of the cage pictures on here and get an idea of what everyone's guinea pigs like.

Don't buy a pigloo. The air circulation in them is horrible, and the pig spends a lot of time sitting in its own waste.

Every hidey in a guinea pig cage should have two doors. And yes, your guinea pig needs a hidey. A step stool from the dollar store makes an awesome hidey. So do fleece forests.

I did see those fleece forests, and did not know if they actually worked. If I did those, should I get two, one for each corner of the non-covered end, since I would be getting two guinea pigs? And also, I never knew that they were called pigloo's, but I love the name :p.

Yes, there should basically be two of everything in the cage. Two water bottles, two tunnels, two forests, etc. Fleece forests take about 10 minutes and a few dollars worth of fabric to make! If I were you, I would make (or buy) a bunch of 1x1 pee pads to put under the forests. My pigs spend a majority of their time under their forest, and it is basically the only place they poop or pee. Having 1x1 pads that you switch out every day will help keep that specific area dry and clean.

If you want to get inexpensive hideys with two doors, try the Dollar Tree stacking bins flipped over. They are angled on each end and they don’t have handles or anything that could be dangerous. These are a favorite with my piggy. She pulls them around with her shoulders and lines them up parallel so she can run through them.

For treat toys try the wiffle balls that are two in a package. They are hollow about the size of a baseball and have holes around them. I put chopped carrot and green peppers in them and Lacey rolls them around with her nose until she gets a treat.
