Hello so I have 2 boy guinea pigs and one is fixed and the other not. I’ve had them for about 2 years now and I finally got a job so I can pay for him to get fixed but should I? He seems fine but I don’t wanna risk any heath issues for him.

Personally none of my boars are neutered.

I would only neuter a boar for one of two reasons. The first would be if you want the option to be able to house him with a sow in the future, the other would be for health reasons. For example if I had ongoing issues with keeping a particular boars anal sac clean I might consider neutering him.

Like Soecara said, unless you want to house with a female or if you had a chronic impaction issue, there really is no reason to neuter a boar. It doesn't calm them down like it might with a dog. So as long as the cage is appropriately large enough to accommodate two boars (they need more room than females), you should be fine.
