Cage C&c cage advice/opinions needed for housing 5 guinea pigs

Hi there! I was wondering, how big would a c&c cage have to be for 5 guinea pigs. I currently have a c&c cage that is 2×5 by 2x2? I'll provide picture(s). Please be nice with constructive critism 😅

The main page of this site has minimum size recommendatins. Five pigs need 2x7 grids, or some arrangement of that.

Thanks for the reply! I must've read it wrong and thought 2x7 was for 4 guineas. So is an L shape 2x5 and 2x2 okay for 5 guineas? 😅

All on one level? Yes, that would be fine. Although, if they have difficulties, sometimes a wider but shorter cage will forestall any problems. They're harder to clean, though.

Yup, 1 lvl. Thanks! Gonna try to figure out how to expand even if slightly.

It looks fine to me. As bpatters says widening it to a 3x5 might help spread things out a bit more, even though it would be the same size. I counted your grids and you would have enough for a 3x5, if that arrangement fits in your space. Either is fine, it’s up to you and your piggies. :)
