Behavior Tiny dancer chewing on ceramic house

My little boy guinea has taken to chewing on the cermanic house I got for him at petco. I heard this weird high pitched squeaky noise and when I looked over at the cage I noticed he was obsessively chewing on it. Should I be concerned maybe take it out of the cage or is it ok for him to chew on it?

Ceramic? I'd take it out. That could break his teeth, or he could break chips off it.

Also, if it's not made in the U.S., it might contain lead paint.

Side question: I know some of the big box pet stores were selling bad China food, is that for EVERYTHING made in china? Pudge snack shack was made in China. Should I pull that?

Personally, I wouldn't feed anything made/processed in China.

Snack shacks are bad anyways, made in China or not. I'd remove it from the cage.
