Conditions: Re: XiaoXiao_Smart's Thread of Concern

No. No. No. Stop worrying about mercury. The chances of your ever running into it in a long lifetime are nearly zero, and even then, you'd have to work in a lab or industry that uses it under...

Conditions: Re: XiaoXiao_Smart's Thread of Concern

XiaoXiao_smart, you missed my point about the research completely. I don't know how it is where you are, but in the U.S., it is highly regulated and impossible to buy. It is not found in liquid...

Conditions: Re: XiaoXiao_Smart's Thread of Concern

XiaoXiao_Smart, you need to do some research on your own rather than continually repeating questions here when someone has answered you. You can, for instance, look up mercury and see that the...

    Cleaning: Re: Bedding Not Drying

Run it through another dryer cycle. Multiple layer bedding often won't dry in one cycle.

Conditions: Re: Bianka Bella medical concerns thread

There's no point in weighing her multiple times per day. The weights will vary according to what she's eaten/drunk/pooped/peed, and you won't know how much of it is pig. The only way to get a...

Conditions: Re: Bianka Bella medical concerns thread

Were both weighings done on the same scale? At the same time of day? If so, I'd double check the second one and make sure it's accurate before I worried about anything. If not, I'd do daily or...

General: Re: Carrier ideas for 3 pigs?

It depends on your pigs. If they won't kill each other in a small space, a dog crate works well. If they don't get along well in small spaces, you may need two or even three carriers. In that...

    Conditions: Re: About the waterbottle

XiaoXiao_Smart, please stop making new threads about every little thing in your pigs' lives. Make one of your threads your worry thread, and put all your concerns on it. Let me know which one you...

Rumblestrutting: Re: Do my boys hate each other?

I never had two pigs that cuddled, except when they were in the carrier on the way to the vet. The strangeness of riding in the car made them best friends for the day.

Hiding: Re: Wooden hideys for 2

I don't think I'd give them anything made of plywood. Hideys made of untreated pine and put together with non-toxic glue would be much better.
  18. Won't Eat Veggies: Re: My guinea pig won't eat vegetables or pellets.

Well, if they're eating only hay and no veggies, they do need some vitamins. gibson, you need to stop feeding the crappy food. She'll eventually come around.

Conditions: Re: Rocking back and forth??

It might help to have a longer video taken so the whole pig is visible. But I don't see anything wrong in that one.

Crusty Eyes: Re: Snickers' Medical Thread

One ml is 20 drops, roughly. Drops aren't a very exact measurement. So 0.3 ml is 6 2/3 drops, call it 7 to make it even. And if 8 drops is 30 mg, you're giving about 27 mg. That sounds about...

Bent grids zip tied together can be an effective bottle stand.
  25. Urine: Re: Blood in cage, excessive drinking, possible stones

You can try unflavored Pedialyte, and the generic is just as good as the brand name. Most pigs love it.
