General: Re: Rats and Guinea Pigs

Yes but the strain that affects and is carried by rats and mice is not transmittable to guinea pigs and vise versa. Mycoplasma strains tend to not jump species barriers.

General: Re: Rats and Guinea Pigs

    Behavior: Re: Guinea pig diet

A cup measure is 8 oz so 1/8 of a cup is one ounce and a quarter of a cup is two ounces so I'd say about a stars shot glass full. Shot glasses are generally an ounce and a half.

  7. Cage: Re: How safe is previously owned cage - if 3 piggies living in it passed on

I bleach branches and rocks I collect for my reptiles to kill off any bacteria/parasites/fungus etc. You should be just fine.

    Hay: Re: The best hay??

I'd say get a prepaid debit or one of those credit card company gift cards. That way no worries with someone stealing your personal data and you open up your shopping opportunities.

Re: A little rant, I guess.

There are many snakes especially ball pythons that are incredibly picky and will only eat live. If they don't get a live prey item they will literally starve themselves to death. It's great to say...
