Puberty: Re: How to estimate pig's age?

The picture is a bit blurry and I am by no means an expert, but either someone really kept up with the nails, or this is still a pretty young pig. The nails look really good and small still.

Puppy Pads: Re: New to fleece.

If you have enough fleece, maybe you can fold it underneath the absorbent layer, that is how I do it. I use towels and washable incontinence pads and with the fleece folded underneath everything...

  17. General: Re: A few unique questions about guinea pigs from a beginner

Also to keep in mind, guinea pigs are NOT cheap pets. You can keep costs in hand for their food and housing needs (though initial housing costs can be high), but vet bills can get up there!

    They...
  18. Play: Re: Horrible odor coming from male/female pair???

So you are going to keep the male away from the female(s) and make sure that if (one of the) babies is male to keep them away from any females too once he reaches three weeks of age!

    Good for you!
  19. Play: Re: Horrible odor coming from male/female pair???

    Fighting: Re: guinea pigs fighting!!!):

I would suggest you not get a new piggie at this time.
