This is a great suggestion. You can also incorporate the grids by securing to the door section of the top of the pet store cage to make more room. So they have use of the store cage and the grid...

    Diet: Re: Switching Pellets....

I agree, put them together. Make the biggest cage you can as the more room, the less chances of fighting. Most sows do fine together. Be sure to have many hideys with TWO exits. Cardboard boxes...

  6. Conditions: Re: Please help, even vets don't know what's wrong. :( Blood in urine.

I would cut out the romaine lettuce. It can be a problem for some pigs. You can substitute green leaf lettuce. I am doing this as well as trying bottled water as our own well water is very hard. ...

    Re: What to do?

Tunnels made of oatmeal boxes or other large tubes. Fleece "tents" are a big hit as are cardboard boxes with a couple of exits. I guess having two or more pigs makes them a bit more adventurous.

I assumed the OP meant the fresh carrots cut in wavy pattern? They are sold in bags like baby carrots in my store.

Vegetables: Re: Baby carrots vs carrot chips

I guess you could weigh them to find out. As you know, carrots are pretty high in sugar and so giving just one chip a day would probably be best.
