- We are presently owned by 4 boars: Greyson (silkie), Wyatt (peruvian), Oswald and Doug (both skinny pigs). We have previously been owned (at different times) by Phil (male Aby) and Fang (female Aby). All our piggies have been rescues/rehomes/shelt

Among the other creatures we share our home with are 3 dogs. The "youngest" (by age) but the "oldest" (by average breed life span) is Murphy, an English Mastiff who is somewhere between 8 and 10 years of age (adult rescue, so that's a guess). Recently he developed a suspicious lump in his mouth, which, combined with his age and breed, had us very concerned. He had a vet appointment this morning, though, which set our minds at ease. Those of you who know me well know that among our other well-loved pets, we are "keeper" to three beautiful pet snakes. Bathsheba (a kenyan sand boa), Erma (a ball python) and Rose (a Colombian Red Tailed Boa Constrictor) were all rescues, just like most of our pets. All came to us with health and socialization issues that were the result of abuse and/or neglect. All 3 required vet work to regain their health.

My cat Puck went back into liver failure. He had another appointment at our regular vet tuesday morning, but he didn't make it that far. He spiraled downhill quickly that morning, and crossed the bridge (at the e-vet) about 7 a.m. He would have been just 7 next week. My sweet, little chubby kitten, who would have been bottlefed but for the fact that he refused to take it from a bottle. He'd take it from a dish, but only if he could STAND in it.
