So if you have been following my blog, you will know that I recently adopted a second pig, Ludovic, who is in quarantine. In the time of the quarantine I had planned to take both pigs at separate times to the vet to get a check up and medicated if there are any issues.

I had been searching these past few weeks for a male guinea pig that I could adopt to be companions with Kingsley. In my area I found it to be difficult. The pigs on Craigslist were being adopted faster than I could write an e-mail. So finally on Guineapigzone.com I came across a woman who was trying to rehome her pig, but she lived in Georgia, which was about 6 hours away.

Sometimes at work I find that I am usually the one that most people find "weird" or "crazy" artsy type. I am the youngest of all the people who work there and not from Florida. I am kind of used to it and try to roll mean comments off my shoulders. I have had to deal with close-minded people a lot of my life.

So with another day off from work I continued my adventures in the cuddle cup and cozy making. Here are the results:



I think they turned out alright. Kingsley still isn't entirely sure how they work, he much prefers to bury himself under them instead.

So today I was brave and decided that I wanted to make two cuddle cups. This weekend I will be bringing home a new male guinea pig to become cage mates with Kingsley so I wanted to make one for him too.

I had spent New Years at my mom's house and found some batting and a needle and thread to bring back to my place. I also went to the thrift store and found some fleece blankets that were perfect for the inside of the cuddle cups.
