Biography:

Hi. My hobby is training animals. Since I don't have a dog, I train my guinea girls to do fun tricks. My method of choice is clicker training.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I focused primarily on the science of learning and motivation because of my aspirations to be an animal trainer with a narrow interest on teaching interesting and novel behaviors--or "tricks". I interned at a dog training center during college, as well, and learned so much.

Clicker training changes the brain of the animal to be more curious, interactive, and aware of how their actions affect their lives--which make them even more eager to learn and also makes them even better pets and companions. I also focus on training low-stress handling so that my girls are happy and comfortable.

I hope to share my knowledge with other guinea pig owners!
