  1. I have new editions to my little family. Dib and Gaz. Dib has a black face, white torso, and a brown bum (he's a American Guinea Piggy) and Gaz is a little baby with similar colorings...he kinda looks like a skunk to me (WHICH MAKE HIM ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!) and he is a young Abyssinian Guinea Piggy!
  2. I am a new cavy mommy! I need more ideas for cages and alternates to certain things! Any advice from friends, fellow cavy parents would be appreciated!

The Invader Zim Gang RECOVERING from the ICKY FUNGUS INFECTION!

by AsianShelly on 01-23-12 at 11:23 am
So it's been 2 weeks and a couple of days since the Gang's Vet appoint for the mysterious Fungus infection (well not mysterious but oh well) and they are doing well and recovering nicely after their first treatment and the fungal shampoo baths once a week. Luckily enough the infection wasn't related to mites or lice, but it was an infection what it was the Vet couldn't tell me. But I plan to make up another appointment sometime next week to have the Vet re-evaluate. I think i made her really mad

Invader zim gang update #2

by AsianShelly on 01-03-12 at 12:57 pm
So it has been about a week since the Invader Zim Gang has been in their separate but large cages and I am seeing a B-I-G difference. It was a shock to them at first, not sure what to make of all the spacings just between the four (2 per cage). Gir (dominant male) is now developing his character, literally running around in the evening hours pop-corning (I hope or he has major heart attacks because he is jumped really high in the air and swinging his head). He rumbles a lot toward Gas nickname Skunk,

The Invader Zim Gang!

by AsianShelly on 12-27-11 at 09:58 am
I haven't been on in a while...but since the last post about Dominating boys continues a sad story but the end is a happy one! My original two boys, Zim and Gir, were once cage mates...then I introduced Dib and Gaz, then everything hit the roof. Zim and Gir kept fighting for dominance over the 'herd', results were bad. Gir ended up getting a abscess in his right shoulder (which looks good now after some R&R sessions). I finally was able to take time to make a second cage, so now I have two HUGE

Very handsome guinea pig, so unique looking but then again I think all guinea piggies look unique and special in their own way! Thumbs up all the way!
