Everyone is in their vacation cages. And it is craziness.
the girls kept everyone in the room up with their bickering.
George who usually never even looks in the direction of the girls is going insane with rumbling strutting, jumping on top of his hides, and generally being a nut.
my sweet patch is being his normal active self.
There wasn't an easy way to do their cage situation. I did not think it fair to the boys to have their
It has been a while since I have posted anything.
I have learned that I am a bit of a hypochondriac when it comes to piggy health.
And the less time I am on the site the less I worry about every little thing with the pigs.
All 4 are doing well.
I have noticed an increase in their appetites. They seem to be constantly hungry. I am feeding the same amount as always but you would think to hear them that I am starving them.
Supposed to be going on
Came home early today. Struggling with an respiratory infection.
But in true fashion instead of resting, I decide to change the pigs cages. Switching the boys from 3 x 3.5 C&Cs to 3 x 2.5 C&Cs and switched the girls from a 2 x 4 to a 2 x 5.

Joanie and Raven have been bickering a lot and I feel they have outgrown their 2x4 C&C.
Plus Joanie passed a kidney stone a couple weeks ago. Since she tends to cry out whenever Raven gets to close to her (not that I have ever seen Raven bother her), I need to get a larger cage so I can tell if her noises are from pain or annoyance.
Problem is not I have zero space.
The girls and boys are in my second bedroom.
Was reading a thread earlier where the original poster said he would rather put his 2 guinea pigs in the woods if he was not able to sell them and recuperate some of the funds he paid for them and their cage and stuff.
It made me so sad. That this would even enter someone's mind as an option.
I thought about my pigs. Not just the ones I have now but the ones I had years ago when I was first in college and had no clue about the proper way to care for them. But even where my knowledge
