- I adopted my little guinea pig named Millie on 12-4-10! She is from my local small animal rescue, where I now volunteer and foster! She's a feisty little girl who loves her human cuddles, but hates all other guinea pigs.

I became a volunteer for my local small animal rescue about a month ago! I worked a couple of adoption events and yesterday I got my first foster guinea pig! Her name is Clarita and she is scared and shy right now, but she is super sweet! She is brown with a little white face! She was born during the summer of 2010!
I currently have one guinea pig, Millie, who is just now 6 months old. I have a 2x4 C&C cage. I tried to introduce Millie to Clarita, and in the beginning it was ok.

After two months of being in a pet store cage, I finally built a 2x4 C&C cage for my guinea pig Millie! It is great and I love it so much! So does Millie! When I put her in she went straight for the hay. After that a little popcorning, and then she passed out in her pigloo! She is still getting used to the cage, but she likes it a lot! The cage is on some storage bins so I have room to store all my guinea pig stuff. Here are a couple of pictures.
