So I let my piggie meet my 2 others yest and things went great at first, but than the younger ones wanted to mount him. BOTH of them did. Mine dosent seem to care much about either of them but they wont leave mine alone.
They only hung out for about 2 hrs.. and about 20 min the day before.

Is that what everyone would recommend would be small meet ups till I put them all together? Or do some just put them in and wait it out?

I am new to this so If I am doing anything wrong please feel free to correct me.

Also is that normal to have boys wanting to mount eachother?? They clearly are boys.. I checked 2ce to make sure.

Thank you much~I am really new to this whole thing and really want to make sure I do it right.

You really shouldn't put them together then separate them. Every time you do they just have to start sorting out their dominance again. Put them together and leave them unless the draw blood. Serious blood, not just a small scratch.

Yes boars mounting boars is normal. It is a show of dominance. The one doing the mounting is showing the other one that he is the boss.

I have had my 4 boars together since January and the mounting, chasing, nipping, rumblestrutting and other forms of dominance are almost constant. It seems that Harry doesn't understand that they are letting him be the big little pig. Although Chopper does tend to step in when Harry is starting to get overly obnoxious with one of the others and puts a stop to it.

Just make sure you have given them as much room as space will allow. I have all of this with a 3x8. I can't imagine how horrible it might be if the cage were any smaller.

K than thats what I will do,yes I have a large c&c cage 2 level. My oldest zade wont go upstairs either but the younger ones went up it yest and loved the top floor. I guess I am a worry wort about them and want to make sure my oldest doesnt get hurt. He just kept swinging his head at them yest and they were all talking, but mine was chittering more. teeth chitter. Than he layed down and tryed to go to sleep but twinkie started humping his head and he was up.
Hope it goes okay today~thanks again!

So you mean that the mounting, chasing, nipping, etc. is ok? My two boars have been together for a month now. All was ok until last night. Tensions flarred - no blood though. Once blood is drawn that is when I will seperate. I may give them a bath this weekend so calm them down. They actually like playing in the water!! They are odd pigs!!!:)
