I have had box turtles (all rescued) for many years now. I was lucky because all of mine are very healthy eaters. They are not very picky, and I have tried many new things with them.
My question is... Do you think timothy or alfalfa hay would be bad to share with them?
My turtles love fruits, veggies, some crickets, and almost any herb that I can grow for them. Now that I have piggies and I have all of this hay around, I was wondering if it would be safe to share it with the turtles.
