Thank you! I dont really know how old she is, I think 3 months, give or take a few weeks. Shes still a little skidish still for me to measure, or weigh, as shes still getting used to me and my family. every time i come into the room to give her a yogurt treat, or a carrot, or top her bowl off with food, she runs laps around her cage and popcorns all over the place! It's really a sight!

Just wanted to let you know that yogurt treats are actually not good for guinea pigs :( I used to give them to my pigs, assuming they were ok because they were marketed for them, but guinea pigs cannot have dairy. Now I have all these bags of treats with no one to give them to! You really have to be careful with food and toys designed for guinea pigs, as many are made by people who obviously don't know about the needs of these creatures. Those excercise balls and wheels that show a guinea pig using them on the package, they're quite dangerous for them too.

Yes terekins is right. Yogurt treats are really bad for pigs, and food that have extras in it. Just plain, timothy based pellets are what pigs need. Make sure to feed her alfalfa based pellets and hay until shes a year old. Babies need the extra vitamin C to grow. Also make sure to give her a cup of veggies per day. :)

Hey there and welcome. Your little piggy is adorable and that's great that you got a big nice cage for her. Updated pictures would be great. Also for pellets I'm pretty sure Hartz isn't the best pellet food but you could try Oxbow, Mazuri, or KM's. I know those I believe are the tops ones. But again welcome and cute piggy.

Hartz is a bad food too. Can you switch to Oxbow or KM? Or even Kaytee Forti Diet or Mazuri is better than Hartz.

Are you feeding her hay? Are you planning on adopting her a friend?

Limit the carrots to no more than one baby carrot per day as they are high in Vitamin A and can cause kidney and/or liver damage. If you want to give her veggies in between veggie time, try lettuces or cilantro.

She needs grass hay first and formost, alfalfa hay can be given as an extra supplement.
