UK Rescue Dogs & Dogs for Adoption UK - Dog Rescue dogsblog.com
I came across this site a while back and recently managed to find it again after forgetting the url. I really just wanted to share this site where ever I could as I think it is such a great resource.
It details dogs from rescues all over the UK and allows you to browse them by breed, size, age and gender. I am hoping to adopt an older dog (6+ years) when my partner and I live in suitable accommodation and this site was great for helping to win him over as he looked at all the collies available (his soft spot when it comes to dogs).
I also think it's fantastic to show to people who insist on going to a breeder to get a certain breed of dog as this certainly shows that just about every breed can be found really easily in a rescue
It is in partnership with Iams but I'll let that slip given the site probably needs the money to be able to keep it so up to date (hopefully they'll get a new partner later on?) - if you could pass this on to anywhere else UK dog lovers and rescuers might be able to see it I'd be very grateful ^^
