I have a Simple question and I'm not sure if this is where I have to ask it, but, here goes,what are the differences between cavy cager, cavy slave, etc. and how do you rank higher or whatever? how do you become a cavy slave? this is odd to me

It's based on how many posts you have made - the more posts, the higher your 'rank'. there's a post in the Introduction area about it.

Cagers are new people. You become a Slave after 30 days and 10 posts, I think it is.
