  1. Introducing a male guinea pig to two females

I have two female guinea pigs (Mazy and JoJo) that are 3 years old. They have been together since they were babies, and are very spoiled. I want to get a male guinea pig from the shelter who is about 2 years old. He is very mellow and sweet. Would it be a good idea to introduce him to JoJo and Mazy? I've heard some people say you should have at least 3 females before getting a male, but I've also heard the opposite. The only thing I'm worried about is the male guinea pig fighting with JoJo and ...
  2. Thinking about COVID-19.

This quarantine period has really forced me to slow down. It's really odd, honestly. I feel like, in a way, I'm returning to the 1960s or 1970s, where home life was much more of a thing. I mean, granted, my life has not been hugely disrupted by this pandemic... both me and my husband are still working, and we're a pretty boring, introverted couple, so our social life has not been affected really either. 3. Paper bedding

Hi everyone, I was looking to see if anyone had any input on where I can get non bleached paper bedding? I was in the process of shredding up a bunch of cardboard to make bedding for them but then ...

my guinea pig girl MoneyPenny has passed her 3rd stage of the grease gland skin condition & now her skin is coming off in dry clumps with fur as well; she's getting better but she still scratches her new skin & makes herself bleed when she scratches; l'm still using Coconut Oil, but was thinking of trying Humilac Spray to help her not to scratch her new skin, can l use that spray on her or not?
  5. Tribute to Chunky

Sadly, my Pug, Chunky, recently passed away. He was a sweet, beautiful boy who lived to be the age of ten. I love him so much, he can never be replaced. Although it pains me to do so, his story deserves to be told. My wonderful Pug, I will always love and never forget you.

My family first rescued Chunky about nine years ago from an abusive breeder. He cowered when we neared him with the broom, and was apparently kept outside-in the heat-for most of the day. As was a Pug's nature, he ...
