  1. Thinking about COVID-19.

This quarantine period has really forced me to slow down. It's really odd, honestly. I feel like, in a way, I'm returning to the 1960s or 1970s, where home life was much more of a thing. I mean, granted, my life has not been hugely disrupted by this pandemic... both me and my husband are still working, and we're a pretty boring, introverted couple, so our social life has not been affected really either. We used to go out to eat more and we used to have library reading dates, and that's literally ...

  2. Paper bedding

Hi everyone, I was looking to see if anyone had any input on where I can get non bleached paper bedding? I ordered some from chewy and from small pet select, which I am happy with but for how big my guineas cage is I have to buy 3 or 4 bags and it's expensive per bag :/ I got a bundle off of small pet select of food, hay and bedding which was a great deal for all of that but the bedding was just a small bag. My family first rescued Chunky about nine years ago from an abusive breeder. He cowered when we neared him with the broom, and was apparently kept outside-in the heat-for most of the day. As was a Pug's nature, he ...

  5. Training With The Piggies

Thanks to @ClicknCavy I have decided to begin clicker training my piggies, though I have a feeling that Eggs wouldn't respond well to it quite yet because he's just so skittish.

Anyway, I have begun training with Bacon and he is a wonderful, intelligent piggy. It is so amazing what you discover about your guinea pigs when you begin their training! At first, I wondered if Bacon's love for food would be distracting, a downfall for training, but it ended up being ...
