I have been watching this forum for AWHILE but never signed up or posted until I needed help with my three boars. So, now I suppose I should properly introduce myself.
I am an avid guinea pig lover. I started when I was in fourth grade and bought a brown guinea pig from a local petstore who was obviously their breeder pig after heckling with a cute little face and $10s. So, for 7 long years she was my baby, and even named so. I had other guinea pigs with her but they seemed to pass (bad pet stores here) as many of them were sick. She ended up with a male in her cage thanks to my parents wanting to be nice and get me another after her previous cage buddy Butterscotch had passed so that was..interesting. After she finally passed (I started with her, ended with her) I decided to step back and not have anymore pets. I mean, it literally broke my heart to see her leave me.
Went military after highschool, meet my husband online through World of Warcraft, went to college, ETS'd out of Military...and now have convinced my husband to let me get back in to guinea pigs. I went from 1 Boar to three in a month. I love them even if they don't get along and my husband is even now fond of them. He likes to say 'I'm gonna make you pancake' to the older one named Smudge since he is a big fatty.
Here is the trio..when I could make them get along for 5 minutes.
