Meet Sam, Frodo, Tinsel, Tinkerbelle, Fairy Floss, Patience and Phantom Floss

Thanks I only named Frodo, Sam and Tinsel......the others came with their names......... Gets a bit confusing between Phantom Floss and Fairly Floss I always find myself calling them both Floss or Flossy for short! Did think about renaming but Fairy Floss really suits her and Phantom Floss is almost 3 and 1/2 years so figured he might be used to his name and find it confusing if I was to change it.

So who's living with who?

What a handsome herd! Do they all live together?

Thanks No they don't all live together! The three sows Tinkerbelle, Fairy Floss and Patience share a cage and all get on wonderfully. The boys try as I might to get them to bond in pairs just cannot live together no matter who I try housing with who it always end with me separating because blood is drawn. Sam and Phantom Floss are both incredibly dominant and both give no warning but full on attack. Frodo has to be housed alone because despite trialing housing him with Tinsel for a few months he just continually mounts whoever he is in with all day and night to the point where Tinsel will sit in the corner crying and not even come over to eat or drink. Tinsel is extremely gentle and none of the others are gentle enough to house him with so they all live in separate cages next door to the girls so they can see and hear each other and even sniff noses but no hanky panky LOL. Not easy fitting 5 large cages in my bedroom I swear it is more piggy room than bedroom LOL.

When the first three males could not be housed together I didn't plan on getting any more boys but Phantom Floss spent his first 3 and a bit years being passed from stud to stud and when he came up for sale due to the stud closing and another stud was showing interest in purchasing him I decided surely he deserved retirement at his age, also couldn't resist his gorgeous markings so I took him on. He is the most inquisitive piggy and interacts with me so much I love him to bits!
