Some of you have read what happened earlier with jackson. He looked so sad a forlorn that i felt that I had to do something to try and make him happier.
So,
I have given his cage a complete revamp, cleaned it all, fresh bedding, fresh haw, even his food that was fresh this afternoon, EVERYTHING that I could clean I have, I am even trying to dig out an old hat for him. I have given him some melon, a slice of orange, and I might try him with a slice of apple later.
He seems to be eating now, he is pooping and weeing fine, I may have to try and get some shampoo tomorrow (after he has been to the vets, I am working all day, but I will find time, thats the benefit of being my own boss) because the poor little mite has been sat in his own mess.
Until tomorrow, our newbie, is going to be outside, in a very secure hutch which is MASSIVE and above ground level, he has also got plenty of fresh, fruit, veggies and water.
I know this is a daft question, but, is this the right thing to do, I didn't want to distress him any more, but, he sat looking at me not bothered at all and I kept stroking him and he didn't run away.
Fingers crossed he will be ok.
