Hi everyone just joined and thought i would introduce my piggies and myself. I have just become a proud mother of 2 female piggies about a month ago, i have named them mumma bear and rosie they are mother and daughter. Mumma bear is heavily pregnant, the person i got them from must have kept boys and girls together, I took the girls to the vet about 3 weeks ago and the vet told me that she wasnt pregnant but very well fed then now i can see movement so definitely pregnant. They are in a store bought cage at the moment but am planning on upgrading them into a c&C cage when i find the connectors or something similar, as i live in australia but i am lucky cause i have lived in the USA and have the squares so i just need to find the connectors. I look forward to chatting with everyone :)

Welcome! Your girls are very cute.

You can use zip-ties instead of the plastic connectors that come in the packages, just make sure you use a lot of them.

Welcome :) Your pigs are beautiful, you must be excited to see the little ones!
As someone else as suggested, many use zip ties (even with the connecters, to add some extra support!)

Trust me, I know how it feels! Try not to worry yourself though, it won't help any. It's a long and scary road, but once the babies are born and everyone is healthy, you can take a big sigh of relief and just fall in love with their little faces.

i know that a pregnant piggy is daunting but hopefully things will go smoothly.
