Hi everybody I just joined the group and wanted to say hello we are 7 guinea pigs Daisy, Abby mamma to Kitty, Rad, and Sven, Hans, Elsa soon to be mamma (no I do not breed guinea pigs I find pregnant ones to help stop breeding and breeders and to get those pigs out of that horrid lifestyle) if you would like to know any more about us or our person comment :) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396419609.122955.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1396419621.895796.jpg

Where are you getting them from and are you rehoming them once they're weaned? Are you a rescue? I wouldn't take in pregnant guinea pigs from breeders because they'll just replace them with more guinea pigs and the cycle will continue. Pups are always in demand so they don't need much help finding homes. Rescuing the older ones that are doomed to be discarded are the best ones to rescue.

Ditto @pinky. If you're getting pigs from breeders, you're just taking their culls to make room for more breeding sows. There are thousands of unwanted pigs in shelters and rescues across the country -- please get your pigs from one of those instead of from a breeder.
