Cage questions about a litter box

How large is the tote? You don't want tall sides that won't allow air circulation. Something with lower sides will allow them to jump in and out.

A 4x6 cage is a generous size but if you didn't want to take up floor space then putting in an external kitchen is a great idea. I would make it as large as possible and ideally removable so you can just dump it out rather than having to scoop it out. They will spend a lot of time in there. Is it a 4x6 C and C cage?

it is a very long low sided tote. I have tried levels before and they wouldn't do it. so I thought next best thing a tote. I could put lots of circulation holes in the sides. This is also where I was gonna put everything hay, bottle, pellets, I haven't done measurments yet I hope it is the rights. I plan to put it on the short side. and hope there wont be a gap on the side. I am excited about this I can give them a hay pile with ease instead of not wanting to do it because of the mess.

Whats the measurements on the tote? If you make a long giant hayrack to hang off the tote it won't take up room and it will keep the hay cleaner and make it last longer.

I am not sure if this will work the oustside measurments are 12by 31. I don't know if they make don't know if they make totes any bigger.

How tall?

5 1/2 inches tall, 12 by 31 does that equal to a 1 by 2 1/2 grids?

It should work. The sides are low enough to provide good ventilation. You can attach a ramp to it so they can easily get in and out. You can also cut out an entrance so the walls are lowers on that side.

It might be too small if 6 pigs want to be in there at the same time. You can add another tote if the first one is not big enough.
