In a few days I will be traveling out of state and would wish to take my guinea pigs along with me. The problem is I have to travel 6 hours in the winter. How do I keep them safe and happy in the car? What are a few precautions I should take?

Bring wet veggies for them to eat since a water bottle will just leak.

Keep the heater on in your car and never turn it off. If you have to stop one person should stay in the car with the guinea pigs.

I'm doing the same thing next week. :)
What I do is put them in a nice carrier with fleece or a towel on the bottom, then give them some veggies and hay. :) Make sure your car stays nice and toasty!
