I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this but:
The Hawaii Humane Society convinced a homeless woman to give up her rabbits. She had 35; they took 30 and allowed her to keep 5. The Humane Society here isn't equipped to handle that many small animals. They only have 8 cages in a courtyard area, each one can hold only one rabbit. To facilitate adopting the bunnies out, they're only charging half of the regular fee.
I know this is a guinea pig forum but the Humane Society is desperate. I just wanted to help get the word out. Thanks!
