C&C Blitz's New Cage

Hello all! I recently posted to the intro thread about finding a little guinea pig while walking my dogs. I have since gone a little bit overboard on buying him things.
Here is what the pet store sold me for his cage on the day that I found him.

On Monday his C&C cage came in and this is his new home.

I'm not great at taking photos, the cage is a C&C Jumbo size, inside he has two hideout houses, a cut shoe box, a tissue box, a hay rack, a hill made out of fiddle sticks, and a cloth curtain. Plus a few toys thrown in.

Good on you for buying him such a nice large cage! Specially for one piggie! It looks like you have a 2x6 cage! woo! I would consider looking at your local shelters / craigslist (not breeders) and finding him a friend! Piggies are so so much better in pairs or more! It makes the piggies happier and believe it or not keeps them in a more healthier state! If you do find him a friend, make sure to look at the how to for introductions! Here is a simple and to the point how to on quarantine and introductions!

I will definitely be looking for adoptable piggies but there is only one shelter near by and they don't get small animals in very often. People around here just dump them outside.

check petfinder and craigslist, maybe you can find a piggie on there.

Petfinder os where we got our kitty!! He is very sweet and playful! I DEFINITELY recommend Petfinder to find a piggy!!!!
