It is possible to train you kids to use corner potties or litter pans. Not all people have access to letting their piggies go to the bathroom outside. What you can do is have the pottie and put a few of their droppings in it and let them know that it is ok for them to use it. There may be other ways, however, this method worked for my rabbit. Another plus is that if you have their cage off the floor and they are out for their floor time, they are able to do their business in the potty instead of all over your floor!
