I have two boars, a Coronet called Geddy and a dark-eyed self called Harris.
They both live together, have the same food and hutch. Harris is a lot more fatter than Geddy, you can barley feel his ribs. But Geddy you can feel all of his ribs and his hip bones a bit. They always have their food topped up. They go on the grass and eat that, also they have those little timothy hay cubes made by Exel, they have hay, they have a big bowl of pellets. Also I sometimes put vitamin drops in their water.
But Geddy is still skinny and Harris is a huge fat pig.
So what could be the problem? Are Coronets a fussy breed? Or do you think that there is something wrong with Geddy and what could I do?
Please tell me your thoughts on this.
Many Thanks.
