I would like to have a list of great pro rescue, active rabbit forums. They can be pretty hard to find.

At the same time a list of great rabbit care info sites would be good to have.

If you know of a good one please post a link in this thread. I would like to compile them and make a good list.

Please do not post forums that are breeding oriented.

If you belong to a great prorescue rabbit group please share this site with them. I would very much like to see more rabbit knowledgable people around to help out when there is need.

I'd like to add one if I may, don't know if any of you have ever visited this site. It is a CRUELTY FREE website and they have alot of stuff to look at and read. Plus that have a reference section that is most impressive and I feel, second to none. I hope this website will make a fine addition here.

Oops! VDJ added this site first! I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention. Well, we apparantly both find it more than acceptable. Here's one more, so I don't look too foolish. ;)

I got their care sheets in the mail. It is the best I have seen anywhere. Very specific and agrees with everything I have seen on www.rabbit.org (http://www.rabbit.org)

They are just starting out, but they are a house rabbit forum only. No breeders/breeding discussions allowed there. The postings are a bit lean, but I'm sure that it will populate in time. And they seem to be extremely knowledgable when answering question.

I learned so much from the Petbunny listserv when I got Angus almost 7 yrs. ago. You can get subscription information at http://www.petbunny.net/. Everyone there is very rescue-friendly, but it's a very high-volume, chatty list.

Here's some of the resources I use. I don't think any have been mentioned yet.

General Health:
This site has some very fine rabbit health info:

Rescue/chat/general rabbitdom:

Behavior
This one is written in a funny style, but what they've observed is pretty spot on:

therabbitworld : The Rabbit World - A Club for Companion Rabbit Owners (http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/therabbitworld/)

Hi there, This is the group that I found when I first got my Frappie.
These are the sweetest people ever. Their ideals are great too, from what I've learned from them. It's more of a message board w/o sections, but there's good communication in it. You can feel free to unapprove it if it doesn't fit. :):)

I know new members can't post links but what about www.bunspace.com (http://www.bunspace.com)? They have no breeding/showing/selling categories, but they do have a veggie category (bunday) and adoption category.

This isn't a rabbit forum, but this is an excellent resource for how to take care of house rabbits. They cover a variety of topics and have great suggestions. It's one of my favorites!

Some info about me: I am a rabbit slave with a bonded pair. I have a 3-year-old mini rex named Meadow and (an approximately?) 5-year-old lop named Max. They are house rabbits, both were adopted and are altered.

This is such a wonderful site! I was looking for a forum to refer a member to (she has pigs!), and I stumbled upon this! I've seen the cage page before but I never realized there was a forum associated with it!

I am a forum leader/moderator over at Binkybunny.com. I noticed this thread with recommendations for rabbit sites and I was pleased to see that "BB.com" was listed! That was way back in 2006, and the site has really taken off since then! We have many active members with dozens of new posts each day! We advocate adoption and rescue, stress the importance of proper diet and (indoor!) housing, and we emphasize vet care and spay/neuter for all pets.

I just wanted to hop on over here and say we are alive and well and we'd welcome new members. We can answer any questions you may have, or if you just want to pop in and say 'hi' and share a few pics! :)

haven't stopped by for quite a while... I totally agree with you.
BunSpace.com (http://www.bunspace.com) is the most amazing one stop world for a bunny lover.
There are certain things you wouldn't be able to contribute to if you don't add a profile of a bunny you own, but you could still have access to all the information, and some awesome bunny owners.

I have 3 bunnies now, and they've all got profiles on bunspace...
mocha frappuccino is the profile i use for all my blogs and updates. :)

since i've been on bunspace, i haven't had to really search around anywhere else for information, or bunny loving company. <3
