Hello people of the forum

I've been more or less lurking around GPC for a while, and figured an introduction was overdue. I live at home with my daughter, husband, and our two newest family members, our piggie girls! They joined us a week ago when I answered to a rehoming ad online. I drove 3 hours that same day to bring them home.

It's been exciting to have them here but I'm embarrassed to say we still haven't named them

I believe one girl is a Himalayan, and the other a long haired Coronet? I'll post pictures of the cuties soon, thanks GPC for helping us keep our sows happy and healthy!

pretty sure people here can help identify the breed and even the color type of your piggies

it's really nice of you to drive far to get those lucky girls! how old are they?

its okay about not naming them yet, i've had my girls for a month now and haven't given one a name yet because she's so shy and i'm still getting to know her personality

Thanks for the welcome! Their old owner had them since they were young, and told me they were about one year old. The Himalayan was pregnant when she bought her and rehomed all the babies.

Thanks everyone! Their previous owner told me she had several calls before me of people who just wanted the long haired piggy. That one has an adorable personality but I don't see what all the hype is about the long hair, its just more maintenance! Lol I have a soft spot for the himi girl, she is most dominant but a bit more skittish. I can't wait until warm up to us a bit more.

Also I'd like some name suggestions if anyone is willing, we were thinking about Ruby for the Himalayan.

They are too cute! And don't feel bad for not having names picked out yet. Some people like to wait until they can get a feel for the personality of their piggies. Nothing wrong with that.

your little Himmie girl is so pretty! I also like the long haired piggy too, but I have a weak spot also for the Himmies. it's not a color I see too often.

and I love the name Ruby and I agree with Jenae with the name Cookie. She does remind me of a cookie.
