Upper Levels Babies + Upper Level?

I've been wanting to put an upper level on the girls' cage for a while now but I'm wondering if it's safe to put one in while we still have the babies.
Obviously it can wait a while until we find the babies a new home but I've already got all of the materials and am somewhat excited to maybe work on it this upcoming weekend.

I don't see any problems with having an upper level, just make sure the sides and ramp are baby proofed so they don't get hurt.

We have a 5 week old guinea pig and she runs up and down the ramp just as well as the big ones. (We of course baby proofed the sides of the loft as well). Took her a day or two before she decided she wanted to go up (we got her a week ago)... but eventually she followed Peri up there.

Ours are only 4 days old, lol.
I have a mini cage I put them in when I clean the big one and completely spaced putting the poster board in BEFORE the babies. Needless to say, I had a tiny pig running across my living room
