This just dawned on me but I have never heard about cheek pockets. We all know that hamsters pack their mouths with their food and treats but go guinea pigs have those cheek pockets?

I think its just hamsters and squirrels that have cheek pouches. It doesn't stop Marybell, though. She will try to stuff as much as she can into her mouth.

Nope. It's just hamsters, and squirrels. I remember our hamsters we had when we were kids. We'd be holding them while their cheeks were full, and you could feel the food in their cheek pouches! Very cool! I think hamsters actually have bigger mouths than guinea pigs, which is scary considering the size difference.
