Yesterday I noticed something that seems like a scab under George's bottom lip. At first I thought it might just be dried veggie juice from a pepper or something but when i tried wiping it off it didn't go away.
It feels a little rough, too.
Is it a scab? Will it go away on its own?

You might want to keep an eye on that. It could be an infection if he cut his lip. It looks a little irritated just to the right of the scab by the corner of his mouth. If you can open his mouth maybe just to make sure nothing is going on in there?

What should I look for exactly? Broken teeth or other things as well?

Abscesses and cuts mainly. I don't think broken teeth would harm his lip.

Keep an eye on it.

Could it be a bit of glue?

I don't know why i didn't think of that being a possibility at first. It wouldn't hurt to use Monistat to see if it clears up would it?

Don't think it would hurt, If it is it then you should see a difference after just 4-7 days..or well thats how long it took for Sally's to clear.... (:

One of my boys (I forget which) had something that looked just like that. It fell off on its own after maybe a week or so? Never seemed to bother them and didn't get bigger so I figured it was some food that had dried on or something to that effect. But keeping an eye on it never hurt.

Could be mouth sores.

Looks like glue to me. I've had it happen there before. It's a weird spot, but boars can do weird things!

It looks infected, I would immediately take your piggie to the vet. I hope its nothing serious.
