Ok so first here is my cage I have now a 2by4 c & c. I want to use my babysitting money to make onother level to cover the whole top of the cage. the problem is i dont use coroplast on the bottem so i would need to find that obviosly for the top, I live near olathe kansas so I need to find cheap coroplast. Also how hard is it to clean a two story cage? I need to know if how many grids does it take to make a 2 by 4 second level? I will need to know all this and im open for seggestions!

I have two double decker cages but each level houses a pair so mine levels aren't connected. I used 49 grids for each complete double decker cage. If you have an opening for a ramp, you'd probably need one less grid.

I was hinking of only seperating the levels by one grid. For my 2 by 4 i used 12grids so i would need 12 plus the base wich I was wondering can I just use four grids to hold the coroplast base? I want to have them connected but if I ever get more i'd like to have a spot to put them. so if I only use 12 for sides and 4 for the bottem i will need 16 Grids plus extra grids for ramp ideas! Speaking of that, any ramp idea?

I think you need 8 grids to support the upper level.
